Meet Our Managing Director – Okonkwo Frank

Okonkwo Frank is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in the oil, gas, and energy sector. His career journey reflects a steady rise from technical field operations to executive leadership, grounded in hands-on expertise and a proven record of delivering complex projects across Nigeria’s energy landscape.

Frank began his career in 2008 as a Radiographic Trainee, supporting sectional replacements and flowline upgrades for SPDC projects in Ughelli, Isoko, and Sapele West.

His diligence, attention to detail, and technical competence quickly earned him more responsibilities, leading to roles as Assistant Radiographer and Radiographer, where he worked on critical assignments including NPDC Oredo Benin Flow Station Revamp, Chevron Escravos EGP-3 Phase 3 Project, and SPDC Benisede Bay Discharge Upgrade.

By 2011, he advanced to the role of Radiographic Inspector/NDT Technician, consistently delivering on high-stakes projects such as the NGC Sapele Flowline Expansion, SPDC Tunu Kanbo Flowline Replacement, and Utorogu Asset Integrity Works. His ability to handle radiographic film interpretation, darkroom operations, and non-destructive testing made him a sought-after resource on both onshore and offshore projects.

Between 2014 and 2017, Frank expanded his competencies further, working as a Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) Technician, Crawler Operator, and Maintenance Specialist. He played a key role in the NPDC/Makon Utorogu Domgas Nag-2 Project, SPDC Estuary Flow Station Upgrades, and Chevron Escravos Export System Project. His reputation grew as a dependable technician who could operate across disciplines while maintaining strict compliance with HSE standards.

In the following years, Frank became deeply involved in pipeline EPC works and refinery projects, contributing significantly to Dangote Fertilizer Plant’s Lekki Gas Pipeline Project, Dangote Oil Refinery’s Trading Facility Pipeline Works, and NNPC’s landmark Assa North–Ohaji South OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project. These projects not only showcased his technical expertise in NDT and crawler operations but also his ability to lead teams in executing large-scale, high-value energy infrastructure.

Today, as Managing Director, Frank brings this wealth of practical experience into strategic leadership. He leverages his firsthand understanding of pipeline construction, flow station revamps, gas plant operations, and refinery works to guide the company toward delivering value-driven solutions. His leadership is anchored on safety, quality, and innovation, ensuring the organization maintains strong partnerships with global operators, contractors, and stakeholders.
